Sonu Sood Airlifts A Critical COVID-19 Patient From Jhansi To Hyderabad; Actor Hopes For The Best
Sonu Soon arranges an air ambulance for a critical COVID-19 patient and transferred him to a bigger hospital. He said that it was a difficult process but managed to transfer the patient without wasting any time
Actor Sonu Sood is the hero without a cape. There’s never a moment where he has taken a break from doing philanthropic work. In fact, with the second wave of COVID-19, he has doubled his work in order to save the human race amidst the chaos. Having said that, he once again tried to help by arranging an air ambulance for a critical COVID-19 patient and transferred him to a bigger hospital in Hyderabad. After he learnt that the local hospital said the treatment wouldn't be possible in Jhansi. His team arranged for a bed in the Hyderabad hospital and Sonu then had to airlift the patient from Jhansi to Hyderabad.
He said that it was a difficult process but managed to transfer the patient without wasting any time. “Doctors had asked the patient to be shifted to a bigger hospital, and the challenge was to get the necessary permissions from the District Magistrates in order to get the air ambulance and get the transfer done. As there are no airports at Jhansi, the air ambulance had to pick up the patient from Gwalior, and it was another major challenge to bring the patient from Jhansi to Gwalior. But the team came through and got everything set up so that no time was wasted. The treatment is going on well at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, and we hope for the best,” Sonu told IANS.
This is not the first time where he has airlifted a patient to a better hospital. Earlier, when he came to know about the doctor’s decision to move the patient, Bharti to Hyderabad for better treatment, he also got her airlifted and moved her to the city for treatment.
